Gainesville Church of Christ

We are a group of Christians seeking to worship God as
His Word instructs us (1 Peter 4:11). We are disciples of
Jesus Christ who regularly meet together as His Body so we
can carry out His Will to "consider one another in order to
stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling
of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but
exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see
the Day approaching." Regular attendance to worship God
and to have fellowship with one another was also the habit
of the Lord’s church from the beginning: "Then those who
gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about
three thousand souls were added to them. And they
continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and
fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." We
have been meeting as a congregation at 2810 Athens
Highway in Gainesville, GA., since 2000. This congregation
was established in the 1950's meeting on Enota Drive in
Gainesville until 1999.
